Bath Covered Bridge is closed to traffic for repairs. This bridge crosses Ammonoosuc River. The town, who owns the bridge is expected to have a report on Monday explaining why the DOT ordered the bridge closed. It is also expected to have to undego extensive repairs to make it safe again. This will be updated once more information is known.

The Bath bridge was built in 1832, there were 4 bridges were built prior to this one on this location. This bridge is 374 feet long.
