Greene County Pennsylvania - Historical Society
White Covered Bridge - Greene County, PA Photo taken 1966
I have received an email today from the Greene County Historical Society, saying they will place a link to our Greene county photos from the Fred Yenerall Collection. The Collection has quite a few photos from Greene county. I am excited that my grandfather's photos will be linked from there. I know that he would want them shared, and not just stored. I think that is why he took them, so that people could see them. The collection has bridges, mail pouch barns, old buildings.
From my research this bridge is no longer standing.
The Fred Yenerall Collection also has road signs from Greene County, Pennsylvania

One of the few Greene county Road Signs that are in the collection. All road signs from Pennsylvania can be found here.
The Collection also has One Room School houses like this one that was taken in 1968 this one room school house is in Waynesboro PA
The Collection has a few Historic Churches from the county also. I will be working on the link this week, putting all the Greene County Photos in one place so that it will be more user friendly. I have also enlisted help from my sisters, making this a family project.
