Photo Date 1969

This is believed to be built by Horace King - and is the only bridge that was built by him that is still standing today. This bridge is the oldest and the longest in Georgia that is still standing. It is owned by Meriwether County. It is 391 foot long. In 1994 it was flooded, and it was reported that someone actually canoed through the bridge. It had minor repairs in 1998-99 and is opened to traffic.
The Georgia DOT had installed a new metal roof, replaced ceiling beams in 1998-99.
