Fleishers Mill

Fleishers Mill which was built in 1887 and located near Newport PA, in Perry County, was damaged on March 8, 2007 by a truck that hit the bridge, but never stopped to report it.
Accroding to the Patriot News Newspaper, 7 of the support beams for the roof were damaged.
They are asking for anyone with information to contact the police department.
Many people and organizations work hard to maintain and preserve these bridges, its sad to see when someone damages a bridge and never takes responsibility to report it.
Hopefully Perry County will restore the bridge.

This is how beautiful the bridge was in 1965
