Zook's Mill Bridge - Lancaster County PA

I came across another blog today with pictures of Zook's Mill at here. . On her blog, written by Gale, there are several photos of the bridge with even the photo of the water line of how high the water was from Agnes.

I love seeing photos of the bridges the way they look today. After doing the Fred Yenerall Collection, all I see is how they looked many years ago. It's great to see current photos to see how much they have changed over the years.

This is how Zook's looked in 1973

The Waterline from Agnes in 1971. It's hard to imagine how the bridge is still standing after the seeing how high the water was.

The bridge from 1973. Gale's blog has a recent photo of it, Check out her blog to compare the changes over the years.

You can see from the waterline photo that the bridge has been painted. All of Lancaster's Covered Bridges can be seen here at Fmy Photos. There are 202 photos from the county, Including some that are no longer standing, such as 2nd Lock Covered bridge which burnt in 1967. That one was an amazing 349 feet long.
