Greensburg Pennsylvania Storm Damage
Photo of the Troutman's building collapsed in 1977
The whole front of the building fell at that time.
I read on WTAE's channel 4's news in Pittsburgh today, where the building was damaged again today. You can read the story from WTAE here .
I can't believe that they had almost 80mph wind there. I remember once that Greensburg area had a tornado in the 1970's, alot of that damage was along route 66. But that was was in the summer months, not 3 weeks before Christmas. So far I haven't heard if they were declared this a tornado or not. Greensburg really should be getting snow, at this time of year, not tornado's.
WTAE does have some viewer's photo's of the damage from Lynch Field, and Main Street in Greensburg, Pennsylvania

Main Street in Greensburg PA, 1977 with barriers around the troutman's damage.

I see where they are buiding an annex onto the building, and part of that fell because of the storm, injuring a person.
