Today, I went to the Greene County, Pennsylvania website and found that they now have a link to The Fred Yenerall Collection. We wrote the article about our grandfather, and I create a gallery of Greene County historical photos, and they included it in their website! It links to the Greene County Photo gallery that I had set up for Greene county. While not all the photos I have for Greene County are ready to go online, it will now be easy to move to their correct gallery. The gallery features photos all from Greene County, Mail pouch barns, Covered Bridges, old Buildings, One room schools, Churches, and road signs.

After the holidays I will set up other galleries about the other counties and have the photos moved. I am still scanning and restoring the slides as I go along, and its very time consuming. But soon it will all be done! YEAH! I can hardly wait for that day.

Miller's One Room School, Washington County, PA

While Pennsylvania doesn't have that many one room school houses left, The Fred Yenerall Collection captured quite a few of them. This one, is from Washington County, PA, its the Miller school. the photo is from 1974 - and it appears to be well kept, and actually in use.

Doing a search on Miller School in Washington County, I was unable to find anything. So at this point I do not know if it's still standing or not. I found that Covered Bridges are easier to research then schools, and other historic buildings. While the slides were marked with what the subject was, and the dates, I still would like to know if things are still in use, or have been long gone.
