According to the Union Leader Newspaper today, this bridge is in danger of collapsing. It has been closed to traffic, and pedestrian traffic.
Restoring the bridge could cost as much as $850,000. The town has applied for grants to help pay for some of the repairs.
Flooding in October 2005 sweapt the structure downstream.
This bridge was restored in 1983 for a cost of $85,000.
